It sounds like the song 'Sudum nilavu' from 'Thambi' so I guess it's from the movie 'Thambi'?

Anon - Kanda Naal Mudhal is a good guess... KNM also has such violin and flute pieces in the movie...Krishna - I almost forgot to post the answer.... Atleast the piece has been listened 42 times... and i believe some of them have really tried it
