RK - this is one of ilaiyaraaja's thematically richest scores. I hear so many delicious variations of sri rama lera o rama song. There is also a melody that sounds like Pirayae song from pithamagan throughout the score. Orchestral versions of phrases of melodies from various songs of the film. War themes. Though i hate the film, i have to dig deep into the film to appreciate how well these beautiful pieces serve as score in the film.

The BGMs are simply magical. I specifically like the two different themes created out of the same common theme for the 1st(title score) and 47th(end credits, I guess). So characteristically special about Ilayaraja.

44 is definitely heaven... The end part is a version of the last part of Devulle Mecchindi. Song. What is amazing is Raja sir has composed 200 very distinct compositions in Pentatonis (Shudhdha Dhanyasi), and yet after 800 albums and thousands of songs comes up with such a fresh tune!. Blessed are we to get to hear this this.
